General Conduct

Driver Training is run in a professional manner and your instructor will always be polite, courteous, tidy and punctual.

Vehicle And Trailer

The vehicle and trailer used for lessons and test will be well maintained, roadworthy, and clean and tidy (weather permitting).  The car is fully insured for driving tuition purposes and the trailer complies with all the regulations required for a B+E test.  You may use your own vehicle and trailer but it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle and trailer comply with all the rules and regulations required for test and that the vehicles are fully insured for purpose, legal and roadworthy.

Qualifications

Liz Driver is a fully qualified ADI Driving Instructor with a category C+E licence and has plenty of experience travelling horses in trailers and horseboxes of all sizes.

Safety

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they are in a fit mental and physical state so that they can get the most out of their lesson.  In the event that the instructor feels that it is not safe for the client to continue with the lesson they reserve the right to terminate the lesson early (with no refund).

Driving Under The Influence

To ensure the safety of the client, instructor and other road users the instructor reserves the right to terminate or cancel any lesson if you are or they suspect under the influence of drugs (prescribed or otherwise), legal highs and/or alcohol.  If this occurs the full fee for the proposed period will be lost or charged for.

Lesson Postponement/Cancellations

Any lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged for in full, or lost if pre-paid.  Driver Training reserve the right to postpone any lesson if they consider the weather and/or road conditions to be unsafe.   Driver training cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the client for postponed lessons, for whatever reason.

Punctuality

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they are punctual for their lesson, any time lost due to the client being late may be forfeited.  Driver Training will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes before the lesson will be cancelled and the fee forfeited or becomes due for payment.  If Driver Training is late for a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances then extra time will be added to the lesson or included as soon as possible.

Payments

Payments are required in advance of the lesson (this can be done by BACS, Paypal or at the previous lesson).
